PC Res 1685RESOLUTION N0. 1685 BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING THAT THE ZONING FOR A PORTION OF PROPERTY KNOWN AS 3b75 S. BASCOM AVENUE, CAMPBELL, CALIFORNIA BE CHANGED FROM R-3-S (MULTIPLE FAMILY/HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL) to P-D (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT/HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL), ZC 78-4. After notification and public hearing as specified by law on proposed City initiated amendments to the Zoning Map from R-3-S (Multiple Family/High Density Residential) to P-D (Planned Development/ High Density Residential) fora portion of property known as 3675 S• Bascom Avenue, Campbell, California and after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed. After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commission did find as follows: 1. That the establishment, maintenance, and operation of the proposed use will not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of the persons residing or working in the neighborhood of such use, or detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in the neighborhood or the general welfare of the City. 2. That the proposed development is consistent with the General Plan of the City of Campbell. Based upon the above findings, the Planning Commission does hereby recommend that the City Council change the zoning on the subject property from R-3-S (Multiple Family/High Density Residential) to P-D (Planned Development/High Density Residential).
