PC Res 1682RESOLUTION N0. 1682 BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING PREZONING OF PROPERTIES PROPOSED TO BE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF CAMPBELL UNDER PROCEEDINGS KNOWN AS ZC 78-3 TO R-) (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) ZONING DISTRICT. Whereas notification has been given and public hearing has been held in the manner specified by law on the prezoning of property known as 1154 and 1164 Smith Ave.under proceedings known as ZC 78-3 to R-1 (Single Family Residential) Zoning. After presentation by the Planning Director, proponents, and opponents, the hearing was closed. After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commission did find as follows: 1. The proposed R-1 (Single Family Residential) Zoning would help preserve the rural character of the neighborhood. 2. The proposed zoning will not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of the persons residing in the area or detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in the neighborhood or the general welfare of the City. The Planning Commission hereby recommends that the City Council adopt the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit "A" making effective this proposed zoning upon final annexation of the"properties involved.
