PC Res 1658RESOLUTION N0. 1658
PLANNING COMMISSION
CITY OF CAMPBELL, CALIFORNIA
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the
application of Mr. Richard Boyd for approval of plans to construct an
industrial building on property located at 222 Dillon Avenue in a P-D
(Planned Development) Zoning District, as per application filed in the
office of the Planning Department on December 7, 1877, and after presen-
tation by the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing
was closed.
After due consideration of all the evidence presented, the Planning
Commission did find as follows:
1. The proposed metal building is inappropriate for this
Planned Development area.
2. The application does not demonstrate that the proposed
development would result in a more desirable environment
or use of land than would be possible under any other
zoning classification.
3. The proposed development is not in the best interests
of the citizens of Campbell.
Based on these findings, the Planning Commission does hereby
recommend that the City Council deny the application as hereinabove
requested.
