PC Res 1657RESOLUTION N0. 1657
PLANNING COMMISSION
CITY OF CAMPBELL, CALIFORNIA
Being a Resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of
Campbell recommending approval of plans, elevations and development
schedule to allow the construction of a parking structure and a revision
to occupancy uses for the Factory located at g3 South Central Avenue in
a P-D (Planned Development/Commercial) Zoning District (application of
Mr. William H. MacLaughlin on behalf of the Factory, PD 77-20).
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on said
proposed amendments, as filed in the office of the Planning Department on
October 25, 1977 and after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents
and opponents, the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all the evidence presented, the Planning
Commission did find as follows:
1. That the establishment, maintenance, and operation of the proposed
use will not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals,
comfort or general welfare of the persons residing or working in
the neighborhood of such use, or detrimental or injurious to
property and improvements in the neighborhood or the general
welfare of the City.
2. That the proposed development is consistent with the General
Plan of the City of Campbell.
Based on the above findings, the Planning Commission did recommend
approval of the requested plans, elevations and development schedule as
presented and further recommends that the City Council enact the Ordinance
attached hereto as Exhibit "A" adopting said plans, elevations and develop-
ment schedule for that portion of the above mentioned Planned Development
