PLANNING COMMISSION
CITY OF CAMPBELL, CALIFORNIA
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the
application of Mr. Alfred Wilson, fora variance to Section 21.50.020 (2)
of the Campbell Municipal Code to allow a 12' driveway in lieu of the
required 20' on property known as 257 W. Rincon Avenue in a R-2-S
(Medium Density Residential) Zoning District as per the application filed
in the office of the Planning Department on September 15, 1977 and after
presentation by the Planning Director, proponents, and opponents, the
hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Commission
did find as follows:
1. The requested variance is in accordance with the checklist
for granting variances.
2. The requested variance is granted only for that portion of
the driveway immediately adjacent to the existing single-
family residence.
3. This variance will not be materially detrimental to the
public welfare or injurious to property and improvements
in the district in which the property is located.
SAID VARIANCE TO BECOME VALID on November 11, 1977•
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of November, 1977, by the following
roll call vote:
AYES: Commissioners: Hebard, Campos, Vierhus, Pack, Lubeckis,
Dickson
NOES: Commissioners: Samuelson
