RESOLUTIUtd N0. 1637
PLANNING COMMISSION
CITY OF CAMPBELL, CALIFORNIA
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on
the application of Mr. William E. Whitney for a use permit to construct
a skateboard park as provided by Planning Commission Resolution #1637
and Section 21.64 of the Campbell Municipal Code, said skateboard
park to be located on property known as 2155 South Bascom Avenue in
a C-2-S Zoning District, as per application filed in the office of
the Planning Department on August 15, 1977, and after presentation
by the Planning Director, proponents, and opponents, the hearing
was closed:
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Commission
did find as follows:
1. That the establishment; maintenance, and operation of the
proposed use will not be detrimental to the health, safety,
peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of the persons
residing or working in the neighborhood of such use, or be
detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in the
neighborhood or the general welfare of the City.
Based on the above findings, the Planning Commission does hereby
grant the requested use permit subject to the following conditions:
1 Site and Architectural approval of site plans and building
elevations by the Planning Commission.
2. Use Permit to expire one year from date of approval unless
project is under construction.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of September 1977 by the following
roll call vote:
AYES: Commissioners: Campos, Vierhus, Samuelson, Dickson.
NOES: Commissioner Hebard.
ABSEtJT: Commissioner Pack.
ABSTAIN: Commissioner Lubeckis.
