BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND
USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN FROM PUBLIC, SEMI-PUBLIC
LAND USE TO COMMERCIAL LAND USE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT
675 EAST CAMPBELL AVENUE. (Application of Marvin A.
Bamburg, A.I.A.).
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the
proposed amendment to the Land Use Element of the General Plan from Public,
Semi-public to Commercial Land Use for property known as 675 East Campbell
Avenue, as per the application of Marvin A. Bamburg, A.I.A. ,filed in the
office of the Planning Department on June 14, 1977, and after presentation
by the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all the evidence presented, the Planning
Commission does find as follows:
1. That the proposed change in the Land Use of the General Plan
would be compatible with the Land Use in the surrounding area.
2. That there are no plans to use the site for park purposes
now or in the foreseeable future.
3. That the commercial use would not be harmful or detrimental
to the surrounding property uses.
The Planning Commission does hereby adopt a Resolution recommending
that the City Council adopt the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit "A"
making effective the proposed amendment.

call vote:
