PC Res 1610RESOLUTION- N0. 1610 BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF PROPOSED TEXT AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 21.02 OF THE CAMPBELL MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING SECTION 21.02.353 TO DEFINE THE TERM "SHOPPING CENTER." After notification and public hearing as specified by law on proposed amendments to the text of Chapter 21.02, specifically the definitions section of the Zoning Ordinance, and after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents, and opponents, the hearing was closed. After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Commission did determine that there was significant need to amend the Definitions Section of the Zoning Ordinance by including the definition of a "Shopping Center." The Commission does hereby recommend that the City Council adopt the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit "A" enacting the necessary legislation to make the proposed text amendment effective.
