WHICH AMENDED THE PLAN LINO FOR T[IE NORTH LOOP
STREET AS ESTAf3LIS[ILD [3Y URUINAWCE 703.
After notification and public hearing as specified by la~~r on
amendments to the plan line fur the proposed north loop street in
downtown Campbell, and after presentation by represE?ntatives of
the Planning and Public lJorks Department, proponents, ar~d opponents,
the hearing a•ras closed.
After consideration of a1] evidence presented, and based upon
the fol1otring findings, the Conlfnlssion does determine that an amend-•
meet. to tine adopted plan for the north loop street is in order.
1 . The proposed re<<1 i gnment of the plan 1 i nes r,~ou1 d not require
denrulition n. p,~rt of the main Gramrrrar School (l~!est Vallee
College} buildirlq.
2. The proposed realignment would cost less than the previously
adopted plan lines.
3. The p~~eposed real ignmcr,t ~~rould not be detrimental to traffic
safety or flow, in relation to the e>:~isting plan lint.
4. The proposed realigrur~ent of the plan lines is in the best
interests of the general welfare of the community.
The Conr,riss-ion does he~•eby recommend that the City Council adopt
the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit "A" enacting the necessary
legislation to ~~n,end Crdin~:nce 978, which was adopted by the City
Counci 1 on Apr•~i 1 14, 19i'S.
