BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
ELEVATIONS, AND DEVELOPMENT SCHEDULE TO ALLOW
CONSTRUCTION OF A COMMERCIAL BUILDLING ON PROPERTY KNOWN
AS 1820 SOUTH BASCOM AVENUE. (Application of James M. Thorne
and Cabak Associates).
Plans, elevations, and development schedule for a commercial building
to be located at 1820 South Bascom Avenue in a proposed Planned Devel opiirr~ni:
Zoning District have been presented for approval by Mr. James M. Thorne,
and Cabak Associates.
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on said
proposed amendments, as filed in the cffice of the Planning Department on
January 24, 1977, and after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents,
and opponents, the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commission
did find as follows:
1. That the establishment, maintenance, and operation of the proposed
use will not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or
general welfare of the persons residing or working in the neighborhood of
such use, or be det.r~irrental or injurious to property and improvements in the
neiyf~bar};ood or the general sti+el fare of the City.
Based on the above findings, the Planning Commission did recommend
approval of the plans, elevations, and development schedule as presented and
furtf~er reconrnerrds that the City Counci 1 enact the Ordinance attached hereto
as Exf•;ihit "A", adopting said plans, elevations, and development ~,hedule
for ti~at portion of the above nrent:oned Planned Development one.
