A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
COMMENDING ALBERTO OXONIAN FOR 10 YEARS OF SERVICE
TO THE CITY OF CAMPBELL UPON HIS RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, AI Oxonian was hired by the City of Campbell on April 10, 2000; and
WHEREAS, AI Oxonian began his career in the City of Campbell's Public Works
Department as a Senior Civil Engineer; and
WHEREAS, AI Oxonian was involved in many key projects such as Edith Morley Park, the
Downtown Parking Structure, Underground Utility District #8, and the Community Center
Master Plan Improvements; and
WHEREAS, AI Oxonian was quick to volunteer to transition from Project Management to
manage the City's Stormwater Pollution Program as well assist the Land Development
Division; and
WHEREAS, AI Oxonian has more recently transitioned out of Land Development to assist
in Capital Improvement Projects, including the Highway 17 Off-Ramp Widening Project, the
East Campbell Avenue Portals Feasibility Study, and providing direction and oversight for
the City's Energy Efficiency Block Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, AI Oxonian has always been willing to fill in wherever the Public Works
Department had a need.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell does
hereby express its appreciation to Alberto Oxonian for 10 years of loyal and valuable
service and best wishes for a fulfilling retirement.
