PC Res 0839Resolution #839 Being a resolution of the planning commission of the City of Campbell setting public hearing on proposed name change of Camden Avenue to Casey Road for that portion of camden avenue extending from Winchester Boulevard southerly to the San Tomas Expressway. Whereas, the City of San Jose and the County of Santa Clara have initiated proceedings to change the name of Casey Road to Curtner Avenue within their jurisdiction; and Whereas, the Planning Commission of the City of Campbell did recommend that the City Council enact the necessity legislation to change the name of Casey Road to Curtner Avenue so as to be con- forming with the other jurisdictions; and Whereas, the City Council has expressed a desire to maintain the name of Casey Road within the City of Campbell; and Whereas, that portion of Camden Avenue extending between Winchester Boulevard southerly to the San Tomas Expressway will be terminated in a cul-de-sac upon the completion of the expressway and frontage roads will be developed for access to said expressway; Now, therefore, be it resolved that the Planning Commission of the City of Campbell has set the hour of 8 p.m. on Monday the 18th day of March, 1968, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 75 North Central Avenue, Campbell, California, as the time and place for public hearing no the proposed name change to that portion of Camden Avenue between Winchester Boulevard and Sunnyoaks Avenue to Casey Road. Be it further resolved that the Secretary of this Commission is hereby directed to give notice of public hearing on the proposed name change to all property owners affected by said name change. Passed and adopted this 5th day of February, 1968, by the following roll call vote.
