BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL APPROVING REQUEST FOR
ZONE CHANGE FOR VAUGHN AND PEGGY PRETTYMAN.
WHEREAS, notification has been given and public hearing has
been held in the manner specified by law on the application of Vaughn
and Peggy Prettyman for zone change from C-1-S to C-2-S on property
located on the south side of West Campbell Avenue, approximately 131'
east of San Tomas Aquino Road and on San Tomas Aquino Road, approxi-
mately 131' south of West Campbell Avenue (3.527 acres total), said
property being a portion of the Cherry Lane Neighborhood District, and
WHEREAS, after oral presentation by the Planning Director and
discussion by the proponents, and opponents, the hearing was closed,
and
WHEREAS, after due consideration of all evidence presented, the
Planning Commission determined that the proposed rezoning would be no
more detrimental than the existing and proposed use of the surrounding
properties,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission
recommends that the City Council of the City of Campbell adopt the
necessary Ordinance making effective. this proposed zone change.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of June, 1966, by the following
roll call vote:
AYES: Commissioners: Lyons, Young, Klein, Tomlinson, and
Chairman Healey.
NOES:.. Commissioners: None.
ABSENT: Commissioners: Harry A. Lee.
