A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
COMMENDING LINDA KLEMCZAK FOR TWENTY-FIVE YEARS OF SERVICE
WHEREAS, Linda Klemczak was hired by the City of Campbell on July 15, 1985 as the Community
Center Manager;
WHEREAS, Linda Klemczak successfully managed the Community Center facilities, tenant leasing
of office space, and the Building Maintenance Division from 1985 through 2005; assumed
responsibility for the Museum and Theatre Divisions in 2005; and took over the leadership of the
Recreation & Community Services Department as Director in January of 2009; and
WHEREAS, Linda Klemczak has served in a number of leadership positions in the professional
organizations that serve parks and recreation field, is recognized and well respected in the
statewide California Park & Recreation Society and has been recognized for her contributions and
leadership in the local and statewide organizations; and
WHEREAS, Linda Klemczak's vision and foresight have been instrumental in the design and
renovation of all buildings on the Community Center property over the past 25 years; and
WHEREAS, Linda Klemczak has developed strong working relationships with her peers in the City
and has been a contributing member of the Management Team for 25 years and the Executive
Team for the past year and a half; and
WHEREAS, Linda has demonstrated true passion for her job and has dedicated her talents and
leadership to making Campbell a better place to live, work and play;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell does hereby
express its appreciation to Linda Klemczak for twenty-five years of loyal and dedicated service and
offers it best wishes for a fulfilling retirement.
