PC Res 3053RESOLUTION NO. 3053 BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A MODIFICATION TO A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PERMIT TO ALLOW THE ELIMINATION OF ARCHITECTURAL WINDOW DETAILS ON 25 RESIDENCES LOCATED AT 845-885 SAN TOMAS AQUINO ROAD IN A PD (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT) ZONING DISTRICT. APPLICATION OF MR. MARK ROBSON. FILE NO. M 96-12. After notification and public hearing, as specified by law, and after presentation by the Community Development Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed. After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commission did find as follows with respect to application M 96-12: 1. The elimination of the required architectural window details is architecturally compatible with the Craftsman bungalow style of the homes. 2. Divided lights or panes are not necessarily typical window elements on Craftman bungalow style homes. 3. The elimination of the required architectural window details will not substantially alter the design and character of the approved elevations. Based upon the foregoing findings of fact, the Planning Commission further finds and concludes that: 1. The proposed modification clearly would result in a more desirable environment. 2. The proposed modification would not result in a situation contrary to the intent of the PD permit by which the development was originally approved.
