PC Res 2962RESOLUTION NO. 2962 BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE crrY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO CHANGE THE LAND USE FROM PROFESSIONAL OFFICE TO COMMERCIAL FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1820 W. CAMPBELL AVENUE PER "EXHIBrr A". FILE NO. GP 95-03. After notification and public hearing, as specified by law, on the application for approval of a General Plan Amendment from Professional Office to Commercial, for property located at 1820 W. Campbell Avenue, as per the application filed by Kirkorian Development and after presentation by the Planning Staff, proponents and opponents, the hearing was dosed. After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commission finds as follows with regard to Application No. GP 95-03: The proposed change from a Professional Office Designation to Commercial Land Use Designation for the westerly portion of the shopping center establishes a desirable land use pattern in this neighborhood. 2. The existing circulation and street system is compatible and adequate to service a commercial land use on this property. 3. The proposed commercial use is compatible to the existing shopping center uses and the land uses of the surrounding properties. e No substantial evidence has been presented which shows that the project, as currently presented and subject to the required conditions, would have a significant adverse impact on the environment. 5. No evidence has been presented which shows that the project will have a substantial impact on plant or animal life.
