A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS, AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF REQUEST
FOR PROPOSALS FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
ENGINEER TO AWARD AND EXECUTE AGREEMENTS FOR THE
HACIENDA AVENUE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, set-aside funds from the City's Pavement management Program are
available; and
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell has been awarded a $2,000,000 Proposition 84
Integrated Regional Water Management Program Grant for the Hacienda Avenue
Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, the project budget includes funds available for use as the required
matching funds; and
WHEREAS, land surveying and other consultant services are needed during the design
process; and
WHEREAS, the City anticipates the award of a CDT grant from VTA in the amount of
$544,000; and
WHEREAS, PG&E has identified unforeseen costs for Project 08-12 Winchester Blvd.
Underground Utility District #9; and
WHEREAS, Redevelopment Agency funding is no longer available for Project 11-FF
Winchester Blvd. Phase II Improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Campbell City Council approves the
attached budget adjustment allocating pavement maintenance set-aside funds and
Proposition 84 Integrated Regional Water Management Program Grant funds to the
Hacienda Avenue Improvement Project (CIP No. 08-04); and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Engineer is hereby authorized to issue
Request for Proposals for land surveying and other consultant services, and to award
and execute agreements with the most qualified firms for the Hacienda Avenue
Improvement Project (CIP No. 08-04); and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Interim City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute a budget adjustment to recognize the $544,000 CDT grant funds, and to
transfer $110,000 to UUD Project 08-12 and to transfer $110,444 to the Winchester
Boulevard Phase II Improvement Project 11-FF, upon award of CDT grant.
