RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE INTERIM CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A LEASE
AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE SANTA CLARA COUNTY SPECIALIZED
ENFORCEMENT TEAM (SCCSET) TO LEASE OFFICE SPACE AT 492 AND
496 SALMAR AVENUE
WHEREAS, SCCSET has been a valuable law enforcement partner to the
Campbell Police Department for over 25 years; and,
WHEREAS, due to the pending closure of the San Jose Bureau of Narcotic
Enforcement (BNE) Office, SCCSET must find a new location to house the task
force; and,
WHEREAS, SCCSET has located a suitable property at 492 and 496 Salmar
Avenue and negotiated an acceptable lease agreement with the owner; and,
WHEREAS, SCCSET must rely on the City of Campbell to sign the lease
agreement on their behalf.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Interim City Manager of the City
of Campbell is authorized to execute a lease agreement on behalf of SCCSET
for office space located at 492 and 496 Salmar Avenue.
