A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT TO COVER THE COSTS
ASSOCIATED WITH PREPARATION AND PROCESSING OF A LAFCO
APPLICATION FOR THE CAMBRIAN NO. 36 AND CENTRAL PARK
NEIGHBORHOOD DETACHMENT
WHEREAS, on November 15, 2011, the City Council approved a resolution requesting that the
Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) initiate proceedings for amendment to the City's
Sphere of Influence (SOI) and the Urban Service Area (USA) for the reorganization of territory
known as Cambrian No. 36 and the Central Park Neighborhood; and
WHEREAS, the City will need to file application material with LAFCO and the State Board of
Equalization for the reorganization which will require map preparation and various applications;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council acknowledged that the City did not budget for map preparation and
processing costs for the subject reorganization.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell hereby
authorizes a budget adjustment in the amount of $25,000 as an initial appropriation for required
mapping and application processing services.
