A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
VACATING EXCESS RIGHT OF WAY ON E. CAMPBELL AVENUE, AUTHORIZING THE
CITY ENGINEER TO EXECUTE THE QUITCLAIM DEED AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO RECORD THE RESOLUTION FOR PROPERTY
LOCATED ADJACENT TO 276 E. CAMPBELL AVENUE
(APN 412-07-023)
WHEREAS, On August 31, 1967 the subject property granted the City of Campbell a 40
foot half street right of way width; and
WHEREAS, the proposed vacation is consistent with the downtown street improvements;
and
WHEREAS, this vacation is made pursuant to Chapter 4, Summary Vacation, of Part 3 of
Division 9 of the California Street and Highway Code; and
WHEREAS, the property to be vacated constitutes excess street right of way not required
for street or highway purposes and is shown in Attachment 2; and
WHEREAS, from and after this date that this resolution is recorded, the street portion or
portion thereof vacated, no longer constitutes a public street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of .the City of Campbell
does hereby vacate the excess right of way on E. Campbell Avenue adjacent to 276 E.
Campbell Avenue (APN 412-07-023), authorizes the City Engineer to execute the
Quitclaim Deed for vacation. of this excess right of way and authorizes the City Clerk to
record this Resolution.

REAL PROPERTY in the City of Campbell, County of Santa Clara, State of California, being a
portion of that parcel of land described in the deed recorded August 31, 1967, in Book 7841 of
Official Records, page 657, Santa Clara County Records, described as follows:
BEGINNING at the northeast corner of that parcel of land described in the deed recorded
November 3, 2010, in Document No. 20940197 of Official Records, Santa Clara County
Records, being on the south line of E. Campbell Avenue;
Thence along said south line, the following two courses:
1. Thence North 89°42'33" West, 89.41 feet;
2. Thence along a tangent curve to the. left, having a radius of 20.00 feet, through a central
angle of 90°08'16" for an arc length of 31.46 feet, to the west line of that parcel of land
described in said deed recorded August 31, 1967;
Thence along said west line, North 00°09'11" East, 20.02 feet;
Thence along a tangent curve to the right, having a radius of 10.00 feet, through a central angle
of 90°08'16" for an arc length of 15.73 feet;
Thence South 89°42'33" East, 99.35 feet, to the north prolongation of the east line of that parcel
of land described in said deed recorded in Document No. 20940197;
Thence along said north prolongation, South 00°19'29" East, 10.00 feet, to the POINT OF
BEGINNING.
Containing 1,158 square feet, more or less.
Basis of Bearings
The bearing North 89°42'33" West of the monument line of E. Campbell Avenue as shown on
that certain Record of Survey filed for record in Book 461 of Maps, page 47, Santa Clara County

A JOINT RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL CITY COUNCIL AND THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY BOARD DECLARING THAT
THERE WERE NO LOANS, ADVANCES OR OTHER INDEBTEDNESS BETWEEN
THE TWO AGENCIES THAT WERE FORGIVEN IN WHOLE OR IN PART DURING
THE CALENDAR YEARS OF 2010 AND 2011.
WHEREAS, State Assembly Bill 936 (AB936) requires that by no later than
February 1, 2012 that redevelopment agencies and their sponsoring public bodies
declare by resolution whether or not either agency forgave in whole or in part any loan,
advance or other indebtedness during the calendar years of 2010 and 2011; and
WHEREAS, Within ten (10) calendar days after adoption of said resolution, a
copy of the resolution must be transmitted to the City Council and the State Controller's
Office.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Campbell City Council
and the City of Campbell Redevelopment Agency Board jointly declare that there were
no loans, advances or other indebtedness between the agencies that were forgiven in
whole or in part during the calendar years of 2010 and 2011.
