RESOLUTION NO. 11366
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL APPROVE A FACILITY USE PERMIT FOR THE
CAMPBELL MUSEUM FOUNDATION TO CONDUCT AN OUTDOOR DANCE
FUNDRAISER IN THE ORCHARD CITY GREEN.
WHEREAS, the Campbell Historical Museum Board is a non-profit organization
established for the benefit of City-sponsored programs; and
WHEREAS, the Museum Board has submitted an application to hold a gated
fundraiser at the Orchard City Green on Friday, June 22, 2012 that includes the
sale of alcohol and an estimated attendance in excess of 100 people; and
WHEREAS, the City's Park, Field and Facility Use Policy requires that permits
for such events be approved by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this event will meet the requirements of
the policy and be a benefit to the Campbell community;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell authorizes staff to issue the appropriate special event permit as
recommended in the Council report approved at its February 7,2012 meeting.
