CC Resolution 9565 RESOLUTION NO. 9565 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL APPROVING THE FINAL PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZATION TO SOLICIT BIDS - CITY FACILITIES FIBER OPTIC CONDUCT INSTALLATION (PROJECT 99-11) WHEREAS, the City of Campbell desires to complete fiber optic connections between City Hall and both the Community Center and the Service Center as soon as possible but by December 31, 1999 at the latest so that major MIS projects can be completed on schedule; and WHEREAS, the City of Campbell issued an informal request for bids to install conduit as part of Project 99-11 on July 20, 1999; and WHEREAS, the responsive low bid was above the $75,000 maXImum limit for informal bids; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell hereby approves the final plans and specifications for the City Facilities Fiber Optic Conduit Installation Project (99-11) and authorizes an advertisement for bids to construct the project. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell hereby approves the attached budget adjustment in the amount of $15,000. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell hereby authorizes the City Manager to award a contract for construction to the lowest responsible bidder.
