RESOLUTION NO. 9571
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING FINAL PLANS, SPECIFICA TrONS AND AUTHORIZING
SOLICITATION OF BIDS - VIRGINIA PARK RENOV A nON PROJECT (99-12)
WHEREAS, on November 2, 1998, the City Council approved negotIatIOn of an
Agreement for Professional Services with Dillingham Associates for design of Virginia Park; and
WHEREAS, on February 16, 1999, the City Council approved the final conceptual plan
for Virginia Park and authorized staff to evaluate moving the sand play area away from the
adjoining residence in response to concerns raised by the adjacent homeowner; and
WHEREAS, on July 7, 1999 the Parks and Recreation Commission reviewed and
approved the plans and specifications for the Virginia Park Renovation Project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby approves the plans and specifications for the Virginia Park Renovation Project (99-12)
and authorizes the Public Works Director to issue such plans and specifications for public bid.
