RESOLUTION NO. 9512
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF
UNITED STATES BUREAU OF JUSTICE ASSISTANCE AND
DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE GRANTS
WHEREAS, the Police Department is engaged in the administration of
computer and telecommunications systems projects funded through the Capital
Improvement Plan, State and Federal Grants;
WHEREAS, grant funds have been awarded by the United States Bureau
of Justice Assistance and Department of Justice for the funding of these
computer and telecommunications systems projects;
WHEREAS, the City Council has been presented with a request from staff
to authorize the acceptance of United States Bureau of Justice Assistance and
Department of Justice grants;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Campbell that the Police Department be authorized to accept United States
Bureau of Justice Assistance and Department of Justice grant funds and
appropriate these funds towards Police Department computer and
telecommunications systems projects.
