RESOLUTION NO. 9523
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING AN ADJUSTMENT TO THE BUDGET
AND THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT
WITH AIC SERVICE AND DESIGN COMPANY FOR THE SUPPLY AND
INST ALLA TION OF THE SPECIFIED EQUIPMENT TO UPGRADE THE
CITY HALL H.V.A.C. SYSTEM (CIP #99-07)
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved a Capital Improvement Program (CIP)
and budget for fiscal year 1998/99; and
WHEREAS, on March 1st, 1999 staff issued a Call for Bids for the supply and
installation of the specified equipment to upgrade the H.V.A.C. system at Campbell City
Hall (CIP #99-07); and
WHEREAS, three bids were received; the lowest being from AIC Service & Design
Company for $457,303, who is a qualified contractor; and
WHEREAS, the funds budgeted are not adequate to complete this project; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the General Fund's Unappropriated Fund
Balance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby authorizes a budget adjustment in the amount of $180,000 from the
General Fund Unappropriated Fund Balance (101.3799) to CIP #99-07 (435.99-07.7883)
and authorizes the award of the contract to supply and install the specified HV AC
equipment to AIC Service and Design Company for the amount of $457,303.
