RESOLUTION NO. 9527
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AWARDING AN ANNUAL FUEL CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Campbell on March 16, 1999, authorized staff
to solicit proposals for an Annual Fuel Contract; and
WHEREAS, bids have been called for and received for the Annual Fuel Contract; and
WHEREAS, Valley Oil Company, has been found to be the lowest responsible bidder with
a price of $0.0245 more per gallon than the average daily price charged by all providers of fuel at
San Jose terminals as set forth in the Oil Price Information Service (OPIS) Pad 4/5 Report at the
time the fuel is delivered.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell that
the Annual Fuel Contract be awarded to Valley Oil Company for the one-year term beginning May
17, 1999, with the option of extending the contract for two additional years upon mutual agreement
between the City and Valley Oil Company.
