RESOLUTION NO. 9528
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A
SIDEWALK INFILL PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the adopted Capital Improvement Program includes funds for Project 96-
10 - Bicycle, Pedestrian and Traffic Safety Improvements; and,
WHEREAS, several isolated locations within the City that currently lack public
improvements such as curb, gutter, and sidewalk but which are adjacent to existing public
improvements; and
WHEREAS, the establishment of a "Sidewalk Infill Program" within Project 96-10
would provide a means to infill these public improvements in a most economical and beneficial
manner to both the City and the property owner and would provide increased pedestrian access
and safety within the neighborhood; and,
WHEREAS, a standardized repayment agreement has been prepared to provide for the
property owner to reimburse the City for the costs of installing the improvements; and,
WHEREAS, staff has developed and presented the proposed program parameters,
procedures and criteria to the City Council for approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell
that the establishment of a Sidewalk Infill Program is hereby approved and the Public Works
Director is authorized to implement the program and execute the repayment agreements.
