RESOLUTION NO. 9532
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A FRONT END LOADER WITH ATTACHMENTS
WHEREAS, bids were rejected for a front end loader with attachments on March 16, 1999;
and
WHEREAS, Empire Equipment, the second lowest bidder, was the successful low bidder
for the State of California bid process; and
WHEREAS, Empire Equipment has agreed to a price of $63,642.34 for an upgraded John
Deere 21 OLE loader; and
WHEREAS, this price is $ 157.62 less than the State bid price for the basic loader.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell
that the purchase of a John Deere 210LE front end loader with attachments as described in the
specifications adopted February 2, 1999, from Empire Equipment in the amount of $63,642.34 be
approved.
