RESOLUTION NO. 9536
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO NEGOTIATE CONSULTANT
SERVICES AGREEMENTS FOR PRELIMINARY SUBSURFACE ASSESSMENTS
RELATED TO FORMER UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANKS,
AND APPROVAL OF A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell is required by the State Water Resources Control
Board to perform preliminary subsurface assessments of soil conditions in the vicinity of
former underground fuel storage tanks, and
WHEREAS, consultant services by a Registered Professional Geotechnical Engineer
are required to perform the required preliminary subsurface assessments, and
WHEREAS, a Budget Adjustment has been prepared to provide funding for the
required preliminary subsurface assessments;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby authorizes the Public Works Director to negotiate consultant services
agreements for preliminary subsurface assessments related to former underground storage
tanks; and approves the attached Budget Adjustment in the amount of $31,000.
