RESOLUTION NO. 9487
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE
SIDEWALK MAINTENANCE PROJECT (99-72) TO llR CONSTRUCTION, INC., AND
AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT
WHEREAS, bids were received for construction of the Annual Sidewalk
Maintenance Project (99-72) on January 13, 1999; and
WHEREAS, JJR Construction, Inc. has been found to be the lowest responsible
bidder in the amount of $ 236,035.68;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Campbell that the contract for construction of the Annual Sidewalk Maintenance Project (99-
72) be awarded to JJR Construction, Inc., and that the Public Works Director is hereby
authorized to execute an agreement with JJR Construction, Inc., in the amount of $236,035.68
plus a 10% construction contingency of $ 23,603.57 for a total of $259,639.25.
