RESOLUTION NO. 9473
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICA TIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE
SOLICITATION OF BIDS FOR THE SIDEWALK MAINTENANCE - PROJECT
99-72
WHEREAS, the adopted 1998-1999 operating budget includes funds for sidewalk
maintenance and street maintenance; and
WHEREAS, criteria for the selection of sidewalks, curbs and gutters to be
repaired with the Sidewalk Maintenance Project have been presented to the City Council;
and,
WHEREAS, staff has identified locations to be included in this year's sidewalk
repair project through service requests, additional locations in the vicinity of service
requests, and additional locations that need repair prior to the street maintenance project
as shown on attached Exhibit C-l; and,
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for the improvements to these locations have
been prepared;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Campbell that the plans and specifications for the construction of the Sidewalk
Maintenance Project 99-72 are hereby approved and the Public Works Department is
authorized to solicit bids for the construction of the project improvements.

call vote:
