CC Resolution 9470 RESOLUTION NO. 9470 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL APPROVING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF EXCESS RIGHT-OF-WAY ADJACENT TO 1489 HARRIET AVENUE BETWEEN VAN DUSEN LANE AND POLLARD ROAD WHEREAS, the land owner of 1489 Harriet Avenue has requested the City vacate excess public street right-of-way adjacent to the subject property; and WHEREAS, this vacation is made pursuant to Chapter 4, Summary Vacation, of Part 3 of Division 9 of the California Streets and Highways Code; and WHEREAS, the property to be vacated is described in the legal description and shown on the plat labeled "Exhibit A" on file with the Public Works Department; and WHEREAS, the property to be vacated constitutes excess right-of-way not required for street or highway purposes; and WHEREAS, from and after the date that this resolution is recorded, the street portion or portion thereof vacated no longer constitutes a public street; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell hereby vacates excess right-of-way adjacent to 1489 Harriet Avenue between Van Dusen Lane and Pollard Road, authorizes the Public Works Director to execute the necessary documents for vacation of this excess public right-of-way, and further authorizes the City Clerk to record the necessary documents.
