RESOLUTION NO. 9468
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AUTHORIZING CALL FOR BIDS,
AND AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
CHANGE ORDER WITH MPA DESIGN
WHEREAS, on April 7, 1998, the City Council approved the negotIatIon of a
Professional Services Agreement with MP A Design for preparation of plans and specifications
for the Campbell Park Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, on May 19, 1998, the City Council approved a preliminary improvement
plan for the Campbell Park Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, on November 11, 1998, the Parks and Recreation Commission reviewed
the plans and specifications for the Campbell Park Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, MPA Design was asked to perform work not anticipated in the original
Professional Services Agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby approves the plans and specifications for the Campbell Park Improvement
Project (98-01) and authorizes the Public Works Director to issue such plans and specifications
for public bid.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell hereby
authorizes the Public Works Director to execute a contract change order with MP A Design in
an amount not to exceed $23,000.
