RESOLUTION NO. 9448
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH GREEN
VALLEY DISPOSAL COMPANY FOR COMMERCIAL MIXED PAPER RECYCLING
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell Source Reduction and Recycling Element includes
commercial mixed paper recycling as an appropriate solid waste recycling strategy in order to
meet State-mandated solid waste diversion goals, and
WHEREAS, Green Valley Disposal Company's current recycling contract provides for
expanded services if requested by the City, and
WHEREAS, Green Valley Disposal Company has submitted an acceptable proposal for
expansion of their current recycling services to include commercial mixed paper,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Campbell
that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an Agreement with Green Valley
Disposal Company for commercial mixed paper recycling services.
