RESOLUTION NO. 9430
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR ASP ACE NEEDS ANALYSIS STUDY AND
ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
REMODEL PROJECT (CIP# 98-08)
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved a Capital Improvement Program (CIP)
and budget for Fiscal Year 1998/1999; and
WHEREAS, on July 1, 1998, staff issued a Request For Proposals for architectural
services related to the Police Department remodel project, and eight proposals were
received; and
WHEREAS, funds are designated and available in CIP #98-08 for architectural
services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has been presented with a request from staff to
authorize the City Manager to negotiate a contract with George Miers & Associates, or in
the event that these negotiations are unsatisfactory, negotiate a contact with Edward Gee
& Associates;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract
with George Miers & Associates or Edward Gee & Associates for a complete needs
analysis and architectural services for the Police Department remodel project.
