RESOLUTION NO. 9421
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT
WITH RAO ENGINEERS FOR DESIGN AND ENGINEERING SERVICES
FOR THE NEW CITY HALL H.V.A.C. SYSTEM (CIP #99-07)
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved a Capital Improvement Program (CIP)
and budget for fiscal year 1998/99; and
WHEREAS, on July 1st, 1998 staff issued a Request For Proposals for the selection
of an engineering/consulting firm to design a replacement H.V.A.C. system for Campbell
City Hall; and
WHEREAS, funds are designated and available in CIP #99-07 for the engineering
and design of a replacement heating, ventilating, and air conditioning system for City Hall;
WHEREAS, three proposals were received, and Rao Engineers were determined to
be the best qualified firm for the project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute an agreement for professional
services with Rao Engineers in the amount of $20,900 for the design, plans, and
specifications for a new HV AC system for City Hall.
