A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
RE-PROGRAMMING 1998-99 CDBG FUNDS FOR SACRED HEART COMMUNITY
SERVICES AND CITY'S HOUSING REHABILITATION EMERGENCY GRANT
PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Civic Improvement Commission and City Council previously held public
hearings to determine the priority housing and community development needs of Campbell for
fiscal year 1998-99; and
WHEREAS, CDBG funds were awarded to Ming-Quong who respectfully declines the
$16,136 in CDBG funds due to Davis-Bacon wages and monitoring requirements; and
WHEREAS, Sacred Heart Community Services had previously applied for a larger grant
amount than they were actually awarded; and
WHEREAS, the City's Housing Rehabilitation Loan/Emergency Grant Program could
benefit from additional funds to cover emergency home repairs.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the City of Campbell hereby
allocates $4,346 to Sacred Heart Community Services and $11,790 to the City's Housing
Rehabilitation Emergency Grant Program.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Campbell this 21 st day of July 1998, by the following vote:
