RESOLUTION NO. 9400
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPOINTING A REPRESENTATIVE TO THE VALLEY TRANSPORTATION
AUTHORITY'S COUNTYWIDE BICYCLE ADVISORY COMMITTEE (BAC)
WHEREAS, the Valley Transportation Authority Board of Directors has restructured
the makeup of the Countywide Bicycle Advisory Committee to include representation from
each member agency; and
WHEREAS, this representative, in the case of cities, shall come from the local Bicycle
Advisory Committee and an appointment shall be made by August 29, 1998; and
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell has an active Bicycle Advisory Committee that was
created by the City Council in 1994; and
WHEREAS, the Bicycle Advisory Committee at its June, 1998 meeting unanimously
approved a motion to recommend that Betty Olsen serve as the City representative to the
countywide BAC and that Steven Aufdermauer serve as alternate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby authorizes Betty Olsen to serve as the City's representative to the
Countywide Bicycle Advisory Committee, and that Steven Aufdermauer serve as an alternate.
