RESOLUTION NO. 9398
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL ADOPTING
THE RENEWAL OF THE AGREEMENT WITH THE SANTA CLARA
V ALLEY HUMANE SOCIETY ANIMAL LICENSING AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, in 1996 the City of Campbell contracted with the Santa
Clara Valley Humane Society Animal Licensing Authority for animal licensing
services for the City of Campbell;
WHEREAS, the Animal Licensing Authority has an annual contract for
maintaining current dog and cat licenses, issuing new and renewal dog and cat
licenses and tags, and answering questions from citizens about animal licensing
by phone, mail or in person;
WHEREAS, both the City of Campbell and the Santa Clara Valley
Humane Society Animal Licensing Authority wish to renew the Animal
Licensing Authority agreement for an additional one-year period.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Campbell adopt the Resolution for the Renewal of the Animal Licensing
Authority contract for a one-year period from July 1, 1998 to June 30, 1999.
