RESOLUTION NO. 9397
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT
WITH THE CAMPBELL UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT
FOR A CHILD AND PARENT ENGLISH LITERACY PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Campbell Union School District has received Title VII Even Start grant funds; and
WHEREAS, the District does not have sufficient staff resources to conduct the preschool and
tutoring components of the project; and
WHEREAS, the City's Recreation and Community SeNices Department has sufficient resources
to provide necessary staffing for this program.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell that a
contract be executed with the Campbell Union School District that provides for City staffing of this
program to be fully reimbursed by the School District.
