RESOLUTION NO. 9389
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL APPROVING THE ADDENDUM TO THE
FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES CONTRACT WITH THE SANTA
CLARA COUNTY CENTRAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT FOR
A PERIOD OF THREE MONTHS
WHEREAS, in 1993, the City Council approved a contract with the
Santa Clara County Central Fire Protection District to provide fire protection
services for the City of Campbell for a period of five years;
WHEREAS, the Santa Clara County Central Fire Protection District and
the City of Campbell desire to extend the contract for an additional five-year
period;
WHEREAS, there are extensive modifications that need to be made to
the contract before it is extended;
WHEREAS, an addendum is desired for a period of three months In
order to complete the contract modifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council
authorize the approval of a three-month addendum to the fire services contract.
