RESOLUTION NO. 9359
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL COMMENDING JUDY BELL
FOR 25 YEARS OF SERVICE WITH THE CITY
WHEREAS, Judy Bell has been employed by the City of Campbell since 1973;
and
WHEREAS, Judy Bell held several positions with the City between 1973 and
1984, and has served as Personnel Manager since 1984; and
WHEREAS, while employed in a full time job with the City of Campbell, Judy
Bell completed college courses and earned a Bachelor's degree in Business
Administration in 1983; and
WHEREAS, Judy Bell has conducted or supervised every recruitment process
administered for permanent positions in the City of Campbell and participated in every
meet and confer process for the past 18 years; and
WHEREAS, Judy Bell has been a valuable resource to her colleagues, providing
guidance in a wide variety of personnel and labor relations issues; and
WHEREAS, Judy Bell's contributions during her career include many years of
service on the Employee Relations Service Executive Board, as well as participation in a
variety of public sector human resources and labor relations organizations; and
WHEREAS, Judy Bell managed the City's Personnel Services Division with the
highest degree of professionalism and integrity; and
WHEREAS, the City Council on behalf of City employees and Campbell
residents wishes to express its appreciation to Judy Bell and send her best wishes on her
retirement from the City.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell commends Judy Bell for 25 years of valuable service to the City of Campbell.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21stday of April, 1998, by the following roll
