RESOLUTION NO. 9355
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE
SOLICITATION OF BIDS FOR THE ANNUAL SIDEWALK MAINTENANCE
(98-72) AND ACCESSffiILITY RAMP (96-09) PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the adopted 1997-1998 operating budget includes funds for sidewalk
maintenance; and
WHEREAS, the Street Tree Planting project for FY 97/98 will be eliminated and
the funds will be allocated to the Sidewalk Maintenance Project for FY 97/98; and
WHEREAS, the adopted Capital Improvement Plan includes funds for Project 96-
09: Phase 2 - Accessibility Ramps; and,
WHEREAS, criteria for the selection of sidewalks to be repaired with the
Sidewalk Maintenance Project and the Accessibility Ramp Project have been presented to
the City Council; and,
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for the construction of the desired
improvements have been prepared;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Campbell that the plans and specifications for the construction of the Annual Sidewalk
Maintenance Project (98-72) and the Accessibility Ramp Project Phase 2 (96-09) are
hereby approved and the Public Works Department is authorized to solicit bids for the
construction of the project improvements.
