JOINT RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY BOARD AND CITY OF CAMPBELL CITY COUNCIL
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN OPERATOR'S AGREEMENT WITH
URBAN VILLAGE FARMERS' MARKET ASSOCIATION TO OPERATE
AND MANAGE THE DOWNTOWN CAMPBELL FARMERS' MARKET
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency") desires to
contract with Urban Village Farmers' Market Association (the "UVFMA") to manage and
operate a Downtown Campbell Farmers' Market (the "Market"); and
WHEREAS, the Market will help promote downtown Campbell by providing an
event that attracts people downtown and support for local merchants contributing to the
revitalization of the downtown area consistent with the Agency's goals and objectives as stated
in the Central Campbell Redevelopment Plan; and
WHEREAS, appropriate measures will be in place concerning traffic circulation and
parking coordination, and established rules and regulations by which the market will operate to
ensure orderly conduct of the Market and the public's safety.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Campbell City Council and the
Agency jointly authorize execution of an operator's agreement with UVFMA to manage and
operate the Downtown Campbell Farmers' Market.
