RESOLUTION NO. 11170
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY
DOCUMENTS WITH THE SANTA CLARA COUNTY OPEN SPACE AUTHORITY
FOR GRANT FUNDING AND APPROVING A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT FOR THE
STOJANOVICH FAMILY PARK PROJECT (08-10)
WHEREAS, On May 17, 2011, the City Council awarded the contract to Perma Green
Hydroseeding, Inc. for the construction of the Stojanovich Family Park Project (08-10);
and
WHEREAS, construction is substantially complete; and
WHEREAS, the City submitted a 20% Funding Program application with the Santa
Clara County Open Space Authority (SCCOSA) for grant funding that was approved by
the SCCOSA Board; and
WHEREAS, as a condition of the grant funding, the City is to enter into a Funding
Agreement and a Conservation Easement or Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions
for the project site; and
WHEREAS, the project is funded through the Park Dedication Fund and the SCCOSA
grant funds; and
WHEREAS, the actual balance available from the SCCOSA grant funds is $81,629.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby authorizes the City Engineer to execute the necessary documents with the
Santa Clara County Open Space Authority for grant funding and approves a budget
adjustment for the Stojanovich Family Park project (08-10).
