BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A
ZONE CHANGE FROM PD (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT) TO R-l-10
(SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL - MINIMUM LOT SIZE OF 10,000
SQUARE FEET) ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1160, 1162 AND 1170
STEINWAY AVENUE IN A PD (PLANNED DEVELOP-
MENT/LOW-MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL) ZONING
DISTRICT. FILE NO. ZC 95-05.
After notification and public hearing as specified by law as per the City-
application filed in the Planning Department; and, after presentation by the
City Staff, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commission
finds as follows with regard to Application No. ZC 95-05:
The proposed zoning will be consistent with the Land Use Element of
the General Plan and the San Tomas Neighborhood Plan.
The R-l-10(Single Family Residential) Zoning District will establish a
consistent zoning designation for this area.
3. The proposed zoning is compatible to adjacent zoning designations.
No substantial evidence has been presented which shows that the
project, as currently presented would have an adverse impact on the
environment.
No evidence has been presented which shows that the project will have
a substantial impact on plant or animal life.
Based upon the foregoing findings of fact, the Planning Commission
recommends that the City Council grant the Negative Declaration for this
project and approve a zone and concludes:
The proposed zoning is compatible with the General Plan of the City and
will aid in the harmonious development of the immediate area.
The proposed zoning is consistent with the development policies
established by the San Tomas Neighborhood Plan.
