RESOLUTION NO. 9348
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A CONTRACT
FOR SERVICE WITH THE CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL
FOR ENFORCEMENT SERVICES ON THE SAN TOMAS EXPRESSWAY
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell desires the services of the California Highway
Patrol for traffic enforcement services on that portion of the San Tomas Expressway
which passes through the City of Campbell; and
WHEREAS, the California Highway Patrol has agreed to provide such services
through a contractual agreement; and
WHEREAS, the attached contract entitled "Contract between the California
Highway Patrol, the County of Santa Clara & Municipal Court, and the Cities of
Campbell, Milpitas, San Jose, Santa Clara, and Sunnyvale for traffic services on Santa
Clara County Expressways" sets forth performance and financial arrangements between
the City of Campbell and the California Highway Patrol;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Campbell hereby approves said contract and authorizes the Mayor to execute the
contract on behalf of the City.
