RESOLUTION NO. QUh
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF THE WINCHESTER BOULEVARD SIDEWALK
PROJECT FOR USE OF 1998/1999 DISCRETIONARY CALIFORNIA
TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT (TDA) FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City desires to submit an application to fund the development of a
sidewalk on the west side of Winchester Boulevard immediately south of Hacienda Avenue
with discretionary TDA funding administered by the Valley Transportation Authority; and
WHEREAS, the City has a Bicycle Advisory Committee that reviews priorities for
pedestrian and bicycle-related projects; and
WHEREAS, the City has developed plans for sidewalk facilities and access to
percolation ponds in the area that have been reviewed by the City Council and neighborhood
residents; and
WHEREAS, all projects require resolutions of local governing bodies to allow cities to
submit funding applications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby authorizes the submittal of the Winchester Boulevard sidewalk project for use
of 1998/1999 California Transportation Development Act funds available from the Congestion
Management Agency for discretionary allocation.
