RESOLUTION NO. 9336
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AWARDING AN ANNUAL FUEL CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Campbell, on January 20, 1998,
authorized staff to solicit proposals for an Annual Fuel Contract; and
WHEREAS, bids have been called for and received for the Annual Fuel Contract; and
WHEREAS, Western States Oil Co., Inc. has been found to be the lowest responsible
bidder with a price of $0.035 less per gallon than the average daily price charged by all
providers of fuel at San Jose terminals as set forth in the Oil Price Information Service (OPIS)
Pad 4/5 Report at the time the fuel is delivered.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell
that the Annual Fuel Contract be awarded to Western States Oil Co., Inc. for the one-year
term beginning March 16, 1998, with the option of extending the contract for one additional
year upon mutual agreement between the City and Western States Oil Co., Inc.
