RESOLUTION NO. 9325
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING A BUDGET TRANSFER TO PURCHASE A FLATBED TRAILER
TO BE USED BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Campbell Police Department has determined that there exists the need for a
flatbed trailer to transport motor vehicles and other items; and
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell General Fund has received $5,747.44 in non-budgeted
funds from the sale of a forfeited vehicle pursuant to Section 14607.6 of the California Vehicle Code;
and
WHEREAS, an additional $1,752.56 will be used from the Police Department's Special
Enforcement Division Professional Services fund; and
WHEREAS, the account used to purchase such a trailer is located in the Public Works Motor
Pool Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
approve a budget transfer from the General Fund to the Motor Pool Fund in the amount of $7,500 to
purchase a flatbed trailer for the use by the Police Department.
